UPDATE – Thursday, June 20

As announced earlier this week, the HVAC unit over the Wellness areas went down on Monday due to a part failure, causing significant damage. Our service provider is waiting on materials to repair the unit, with some parts expected to take several weeks to arrive. In the meantime, we are using large fans to circulate air from cooled spaces to the wellness areas, which is moderately effective in normal weather, but challenging during heat waves. We continuously explore temporary solutions to enhance comfort in these areas and are working with our vendors to expedite the repair timeline.

We remind everyone to stay hydrated, adjust workouts based on personal limits, and monitor for signs of heat-related illness. Thank you for your understanding and patience while we address this issue.

We learned that the HVAC unit servicing our Wellness Addition (Wellness, Group Exercise Studio, Karate Dojo, Gronk Zone, Lift Zone) stopped working.

Our technicians reported today that we have a damaged fan and the unit cannot run until a replacement is installed. Our Facilities Team and Technicians are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible, but we are currently without a definitive timeline for repair. During this time, our ability to maintain consistent temperature & humidity in the space will be minimal.

The timing of this unit being down is unfortunate given this week’s weather forecast.

We have added several fans to the space to help move air and are looking into other short-term options to comfort the space. We encourage members and staff to stay hydrated and modify workouts considering the environment.
